Before and After School Care
Our before and after school care programs, for kids ages 4 and up, offer a peaceful, enriching environment to start and end the school day.
We are zoned for Kakabeka School District and are under a 5 minute drive from Kakabeka town centre. We have very limited spaces available for the upcoming 2025/2026 school year!
Before School Care:
Our before school care offers a gentle, grounded start to the day - no screens, no rush. Indoors, children can enjoy a large, peaceful space and can ease into their mornings by engaging with open-ended toys, like Magna-Tiles and train sets, or they can simply relax while listening to one of our many curated audiobooks. A healthy snack will be offered!
On pleasant mornings, kids are invited to join us outdoors for simple farm chores, like feeding animals or collecting eggs, allowing them to breathe in the fresh air, move their bodies, and connect with nature. It’s the perfect blend of quiet play and purposeful activity to prepare them for a focused school day.
We will open at 7:00 am for before school care.
After School Care:
Give your child the gift of fresh air and freedom after a long school day. Our after school care takes place on a beautiful, spacious property where kids can explore nature trails, try out archery, help with farm chores, or just enjoy unstructured play in a large, manicured yard. Time with animals, movement, and imaginative play are all part of the daily rhythm.
On the rare days we stay inside, they’ll still have plenty of space to play, build, and create with open-ended toys or relax with one of our many audiobooks, puzzles or board games! There will also be occasional crafts available to work on, and a healthy snack will be offered!
After school care ends at 5:45 PM.
Fees:
$30/day per child for BOTH Before and After School Care
$20/day per child for Before School Care
$20/day per child for After School Care
IMPORTANT NOTES:
We will not be available for Before/After School Care from January 12 - January 30th, 2026. We apologize for this inconvenience!
We would be considered an unlicensed daycare provider for these specific programs and you will be required to sign a disclosure acknowledging this.
