Pine and Pasture Academy is a new family-run forest and farm school located just outside of Kakabeka Falls.
We offer homeschool day programs, school field trips, before/after school care and seasonal/PA day camps where kids can come and enjoy outdoor learning adventures, bushcraft teachings, care for farm animals and other fun, hands-on activities such as archery and engaging crafts!
Led by a certified teacher with years of experience, our programs will nurture curiosity, confidence, and a deep connection to the natural world.

We believe education is richest when it’s lived. As a homeschooling family running a small hobby farm, we’ve seen firsthand how powerful it is when children learn by doing. That’s why we created our farm and forest day programs, to offer kids meaningful, hands-on education opportunities that go beyond textbooks.
Here, children have the chance to engage with the real world. They will learn animal care, and experience seasonal traditions like planting, harvesting and preserving. In the forest, teachings will include outdoor survival, naturalist knowledge, and other traditional skills like fire-building.
Each day is built around curiosity, connection, and care: for the land, for animals, and for each other. If you’re looking for a place where your child can build friendships and strengthen their bond with the natural world, we’d love to welcome you to our little corner of the forest and farm.
